Investment boost for North film commission
The Northern Ireland Film and Television Commission has announced an investment of over £2m (€2.9m) in five feature films set to be shot in Northern Ireland in the next year.
The films are Closing the Ring, Stones in his Pockets, Valhalla, Middletown and Baby Baby.
NIFTC Honorary President Kenneth Branagh praised the financial boost.
He said "It's fantastic that film production in Northern Ireland is becoming a reality.
"These films have a rich value for Northern Ireland culturally and economically and show that we have much to offer the world of film."
