Angelina Jolie avoided a star-studded party at the Cannes Film Festival on Thursday - to stop fellow actress Jennifer Aniston from feeling uncomfortable.

Aniston was reportedly upset following speculation her husband Brad Pitt had grown close to Jolie while filming new movie Mr And Mrs Smith earlier this year.
