Clooney leaves Pitt to face the fans

George Clooney, 43, and Brad Pitt, 40, went for a stroll recently down Michigan Avenue in Chicago - and Clooney left Pitt in the lurch!

Clooney stopped to buy a paper while Pitt stood a few feet away. A source explained: "Suddenly (Clooney) was spotted and before he knew it, he was surrounded by fans."

But when Clooney noticed Pitt laughing he quickly pointed at him and said: "Look everyone, it's Brad Pitt!"

The crowd then descended on poor Pitt, while a laughing Clooney made his escape.
