Billy Joel car crash parts sold for charity

Broken pieces from grille of the car singer Billy Joel was driving when he skidded into a house in the Long Island area of New York were sold at a charity auction for €1,000.

Steve Harper, a host at the WBLI radio station that sponsored the event, said an unidentified bidder was the winner of the online auction.
