Cameron Diaz reveals tough streak
Don’t mess with Cameron Diaz.
She may be the biggest earning actress in Hollywood, but she’s got a tough streak earned during her schooldays in a very rough suburb of Long Beach, about 20 miles south of LA.
Her school was right in the middle of a gang area and Diaz used to carry a long hairpin for protection.
Nicknamed “Skelator” because of her skinny frame and her love of heavy metal music, she was also a cheerleader.
That didn’t stop her beating up a couple of boys who tried to cause her grief.
Now the Charlie’s Angel has found a new film that’s right up her street - she’s starring in X-Girls, about a team of former Playboy Playmates who competed in the Eco-Challenge contest in the jungle two years ago. It’s due out early next year.
