Keanu Reeves to receive stunt award

Keanu Reeves will be honoured for his work in action movies at the upcoming World Stunt Awards to be presented on May 16.

The awards recognize the men and women who put their lives at risk to make fights, explosions and tall-building falls on TV shows and movies look more realistic.

Nominees were selected from 19 films, including 'Kill Bill — Vol. 1,' 'Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl' and 'Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines'. Categories include Best Fight, Best Fire Stunt and Best Work with a Vehicle.

Keanu will receive an honorary trophy for best action movie star. His films include 'The Matrix' trilogy, 'Speed' and 'Chain Reaction'.
