Britney bowls fans over

Britney Spears has been gearing up for her two-day stint in Scotland by relaxing with friends, it emerged today.

The 22-year-old pop princess, who is to play in Glasgow tonight and tomorrow, was reportedly spotted at a ten-pin bowling alley in Lanarkshire on Wednesday night.

Reports suggest the star had booked all 28 lanes at the Hollywood Bowl in Coatbridge for security as she knocked down the pins.

The star, whose latest single Toxic is at number 27 in the UK charts, is set to perform two sell-out concerts at the SECC.

She has already come under fire for her raunchy stage antics and miming at other UK dates.

Her latest album, In The Zone, is her fourth collaboration with music company Jive Records.

The Onyx Hotel Tour 2004 sees Wicked Wisdom, a band fronted by Jada Pinkett Smith, open at all UK dates.

JC Chasez, a member of boyband N Sync, which also featured Spears’s former boyfriend Justin Timberlake, will go on immediately before Britney.
