Law/Paltrow blockbuster put off until Sept
Sky Captain And The World Of Tomorrow, the futuristic action-adventure movie starring Jude Law, Gwyneth Paltrow and Angelina Jolie, was scheduled for a summer release but the film has now been postponed nearly three months until September.
Paramount says the original plan for the movie to come out in June would be too close to the release in the States of Sony Pictures’ Spider-Man 2 on July 2. Producers presumably feel the competition would be too great and Sky Captain would lose out.
