Omagh adds to growing Irish film festival circuit
A new film festival joins the growing list of screen celebrations around Ireland.
The latest will be the Mid-Ulster Film Festival, to be held at An Creagan Visitor Centre in Omagh from Friday, May 7 to Sunday, May 9.
The weekend dedicated to the delights of the cinema will include a selection of Irish and international shorts and features, workshops and visits by such film personalities as writer-director Anne Crilly, producer Edwina Forkin, scriptwriter Dave Duggan, editors Harry Burke and Ellen Factor and camera technician Aidan Molloy.
The award-winning film-makers and private cinema owners, Noel and Roy Spence, will also be discussing the making of short films.
