Caron’s husband Russ Lindsay and mother Gloria Hunniford praised her as “bewitchingly beautiful” and “courageous” during a funeral service at St Peter’s Church in the grounds of Hever Castle, Kent in England.

Celebrity friends including Channel 4’s Richard and Judy, Cliff Richard, Noel Edmonds and Saturday Night Takeaway host Ant and Dec were also in the congregation today.

Ms Keating died last Tuesday at Ms Hunniford’s home in Sevenoaks, Kent, following a seven-year battle against breast cancer. She was 41.

Her husband and sons Charlie, nine, and Gabriel, seven, were also by her bedside.

Songs played during the service at the 13th century church, where she married Mr Lindsay in 1991 included Van Morrison’s Have I Told You Lately That I Love You and Cliff Richard’s Miss You Nights.
