Soul godfather's wife ready for marriage again

The wife of James Brown, who was still legally married when she wed the soul star, has finally had her first marriage dissolved.

James Brown has also sought an annulment of his marriage to Tomi Rae Brown but the pair plan to remarry now that her first marriage has been brought to an end.

Her marriage to Javed Ahmed was ended on the grounds that it was not consummated.

The singer is also due to stand trial for assaulting Tomi Rae last year following an alleged fight at their home.
