Alex Best gets quickie divorce from George

Football legend George Best and his wife Alex were divorced today.

Mrs Best, who recently starred in TV’s I’m A Celebrity – Get Me Out of Here, was granted a “quickie” divorce at the High Court’s Family Division in central London.

Neither attended the hearing before District Judge Richard Harper when the divorce went through in 2mins 20secs.

Alex Best’s decree nisi, granted under the special quickie procedure, was fourth in a list of 30 divorces granted by the judge.
