Easter sees Passion rise again

The Passion Of The Christ rebounded at the box office in America during the Easter holiday – far beyond anyone’s expectations.

Even Mel Gibson was surprised at the rekindled interest in his film. On its seventh weekend, the movie shot up from the fifth slot to the number one spot, taking an estimated $17.1m.
