Poll: Firth favourite to take over Bond

A lot of stars are now letting it be known that they'd quite fancy the Bond role if Brosnan hangs up his tux.

Love Actually star, 43-year-old Colin Firth, has emerged as the British public's favourite, pipping the likes of Clive Owen, Christian Bale, Jude Law and Sean Bean in a recent poll.

Firth, of course, sent female temperatures soaring as he strolled dripping from a lake when he played Mr Darcy in the TV Pride and Prejudice.
