Hamlet copy set to fetch €1.5m at auction

A rare copy of William Shakespeare’s Hamlet printed during the Bard’s lifetime is expected to fetch more than £1m (€1.5m) when it goes under the hammer at a US auction house.

The copy, printed in 1611, is the earliest available version of the play held by a private collector.
