Fans give Bryan-less Westlife thumbs up

The whole country remembers the girls who appeared on news bullitins in floods of tears at the news that Bryan McFadden was to leave Westlife.

The RTÉ Nationwide team was so moved by how seriously the girls took the news of Bryan's departure that they tracked them down at their school on Westland Row in the heart of Dublin and surprised them by bringing them to see the slimmed down Westlife in concert in Belfast last Wednesday night.

The three girls, who describe themselves as Westlife's biggest fans, had a ball and even met the members of Westlife after the concert.

The girls had "the time of their lives" and have given the thumbs-up to Westlife without Bryan.
