Coldplay star accused of attacking snapper

Chris Martin has been accused of attacking a photographer after leaving a London restaurant with pregnant wife Gwyneth Paltrow.

A police spokesperson confirmed that the incident, alleged to have taken place on Wednesday night in Knightsbridge, was being investigated.

A Coldplay spokesman claimed photographer Alessandro Copetti had been running after Gwyneth's taxi and tripped.

The Coldplay singer was charged with malicious damage last year after allegedly attacking a photographer's car in Australia but the charges were later dropped.
