Del Boy is Britain's comedy number one

Peckham wheeler-dealer Del Boy Trotter has struck gold – after Only Fools and Horses was named Britain’s best sitcom.

The show, which chronicled the various get-rich-quick schemes of wannabe yuppy Derek Trotter, played by David Jason, beat shows including historical satire, Blackadder, and The Vicar of Dibley.
