Bounty hunter Beck (The Rock) is given one last job - that of finding the missing-in-the-Amazon son of a hoodlum dad - before opening a restaurant. He gets to meet mad Scotsmen, a beautiful waitress who is also a rebel terrorist, an evil American who treats his workers like slaves.

So we can forget the paper-thin plot and the wooden characters and enjoy (?) the action. The film is all about the action, and it's very energetic.

There is a fleeting cameo by the new Governor of California, Arnold Schwarzenegger, who used to make mindless films like this.

Daft wouldn't be in it!
