Ben Affleck has admitted that he feels "vaguely bad" because it was he who convinced J-Lo to appear in Jersey Girl, playing the mother of his character's daughter for 12 movie minutes.

Then came the Gigli debacle and the pair broke up.

Now anything they do seems to be rubbished in the media.

The former couple's relationship complicated many aspects of the picture. Jennifer was removed from all publicity and their on-screen wedding scene was cut.

However, J-Lo is reportedly thinking less and less about the couple's break-up, canoodling very publicly with fellow singer Mark Anthony while talking about returning her $2.5m (€2m) engagement ring. The 6.1 carat pink diamond sparkler was designed by Harry Winston and bought by Ben, but may now find its way back to the jewellers.
