Historical drama for Scarlett

Scarlett Johansson is to star in Napoleon and Betsy, a drama about the friendship between Napoleon Bonaparte and a young British girl.

A shortlist is being put together for the part of Napoleon, says Variety. The film is on track to begin shooting in the autumn.

The project tells the story of the emperor's final years, as seen through the girl's eyes.
