Elijah Wood lines up new role

Elijah Wood is to star in the movie version of Jonathan Safran Foer's Everything is Illuminated.

The book tells the story of young American Jew and his quest to find the woman who saved his grandfather from the Nazis in a small Ukrainian town.

Liev Schreiber will make his directorial debut on the comedy drama for Warner Independent Pictures, says Hollywood Reporter.

Shooting is due to start on June 14 in Prague.
