Corgan to make solo acoustic debut

Former Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan will make his solo acoustic debut with a concert in his hometown of Chicago next month.

The show on April 14 will be filmed for possible inclusion on an upcoming DVD.

He is also very excited about his forthcoming album, saying that he wakes up everyday "looking forward to going to work".

"I feel this music will be very close to me and who I am", he is quoted as saying.
