It's all here; the bouncing off the red car with the cream stripe, the flares, the chases, and the driving soundtrack. And it's all fun.

The ever-popular buddy cops from the l970s TV series make their big-screen debut in a wonderfully daft film which will delight you. Director Phillips has converted the series into a film that is affectionate without being an out-and-out spoof.

Forget the weakness of the storyline, just sit back and enjoy Stiller (Starksy) and Wilson (Hutch) racing around town in that famous car - OK, so they're on the trail of a drugs baron - and enjoy some truly funny set-pieces and dialogue exchanges.

It's a snappy, happy film that will send you home feeling good. It's a top-class entertainment; and there's a terrific contribution from Snoop Dogg as the equally beloved Huggy Bear.
