Penny's US job gives her one-up on Rachel

Penny Lancaster may have had the last laugh in her war of words with Rachel Hunter after signing a lucrative modelling contract in the US.

The blonde sidekick of aging crooner Rod Stewart has secured a contract with the New York-based Elite Agency, recovering quickly from being dumped by Ultimo lingerie.

Rod's ex-wife Rachel took up the Ultimo role last month after Penny was cast-off by the Scottish firm, sparking a bitchy catfight between the blonde pair.

At its height, Penny said her rival had breast implants, a claim vehemently denied by Rachel, who has made no secret of her dislike for the 32-year-old.

There have also been claims of "heavy airbrushing" on the Ultimo advertising images of Rachel, suggesting she is perhaps not as good in the flesh as she looks on celluloid!
