Raggy Boy picking up good reviews

Aidan Quinn is currently picking up good critical reviews for his performance in the generally released Song for a Raggy Boy, about the abuse of young boys in an Irish reform school in the l930s.

Convincing and cliché-free, say the critics, while Iain Glen's performance as a sadistic Brother gets the "nothing short of terrifying" tag.

The film is directed by co-writer Aisling Walsh and co-stars Dudley Sutton, Marc Warren, John Travers and Chris Newman.
