TV show remakes making popular movies

With Starsky and Hutch opening in America, and the success of the Charlie’s Angels films, it’s clear that remakes of TV shows are now enormously profitable. And there are more to come this year: Scooby Doo 2 is out in America at the end of March.

Bewitched hits the screens this summer with Nicole Kidman and Will Ferrell; Thunderbirds, an adaptation of the ’60s puppet show is in the works; and Mission Impossible 3 will come out in 2005.
