Young Oscar nominee gets advice from veterans

Keisha Castle-Hughes, the youngest ever best actress Oscar nominee, says she's had some good advice for the awards show from fellow nominees.

She has been told "to take lots of snacks in my bag, because you have to sit there for so long. I'll have a big bag of nuts and raisins to nibble.

"Also they've told me to smile all the time because my seat will be on-camera a lot and you have to keep looking happy."

The actress, who's been nominated for her role in Whale Rider, is being inundated with scripts and is expected to become a big star - whether she wins or not.

The 13-year-old says she has two crushes, Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom, but does have a 17-year-old boyfriend she met at school.

Castle-Hughes will attend the Oscars in a gown by a designer from her native New Zealand, but she hasn't chosen one yet.
