Civic welcome for jungle queen Kerry

Queen of the jungle Kerry McFadden was making a triumphant return to her home town today.

Only days after returning from the outback the former Atomic Kitten singer will join family and friends at Warrington Town Hall to celebrate her success in the ITV show I’m A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!

A spokesman for Warrington Borough Council said: “Kerry will turn from jungle survivor to Warrington’s own jungle VIP for just a few hours, before flying back to her family in Ireland.

“During her whistlestop visit, Kerry will take time out of her very hectic schedule to say a few words of thanks to the people of Warrington who supported her throughout the show.”

Kerry will also be meeting the Mayor of Warrington, Cllr Pauline Nelson, who will say a few words to welcome Kerry home.

All of Kerry’s fans are invited to join the event at the town hall at around noon.
