Looney Tunes on parade in new fun flick

Chuck Jones, who created all of the wonderfully-manic Warner Brothers cartoon characters, once told me that his favourite was the ill-fated Daffy Duck.
"Bugs Bunny," explained Jones, "is who we'd all love to be. Daffy Duck is who we all really are!"
What we have in this lightweight but vastly-entertaining film is a parade of all those brilliantly-conceived characters.
And the parade is enough - forget any plotline, here it really doesn't matter - for we meet once again the rabbit, the duck, the coyote, the little fat man, the strutting cockerel and the little bird - and we wallow in the wit and mayhem they have created on our screens over so many wonderful years.
You have to be sharp-witted to catch all the movie in-jokes and references and to keep up with the constantly-coming gags.
Dante brings the characters to life in one of those films you can't help but love.
It ain't rocket science, but once you see the evil Acme Corporation on screen you know you're in heaven!
Great stuff all round.
