The only thing to make this ghastly film worth watching is Pacino.
He plays a struggling, has-been publicity man, longing for one last shot at the golden target of headlines and clients getting their photographs taken.
There are various sub-plots thrown in to make the audience think, but they are so thin that it doesn't take long.
Tripe, however dressed-up it looks, is still tripe and no amount of stars can disguise it.
This is an episodic story of empty celebrity and the chasing of it. It doesn't work on any level.
