Catherine Zeta-Jones is set to star in Ocean’s Twelve, the sequel to 2001’s hit film Ocean’s Eleven.

Steven Soderbergh, who directed the first film and has worked with Zeta-Jones before (on his Oscar-winning Traffic) will again be at the helm.

The project will reunite the stars who appeared in the first film: George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Julia Roberts, and Matt Damon will be another crime caper, this time with an international flavour.

Ben Affleck's brother Casey will also appear, as will James Caan's son, Scott. Zeta-Jones will play a Europol agent who’s also Brad Pitt’s love interest.

“Catherine is a great star,” says producer Jerry Weintraub. “I needed someone as important as the other cast members and I’ve found that person. With Julia and Catherine I think I have the two most beautiful women in the world in this movie.”

The film will be set in Paris, Rome, Amsterdam, Monte Carlo, Lake Como, Chicago, Las Vegas and Los Angeles.
