Kerry shocked at Atomic Kitten split

Last night's winner of 'I'm a Celebrity….get me out of here' Kerry McFadden was today adjusting to life after the jungle and has had a few shocks so far.

She was “gobsmacked” to find her former bandmates Atomic Kitten have split.

And husband Bryan told her he had lost his platinum and diamond wedding band while surfing out in Australia.

“He told me he lost his wedding ring and that he has lost another ring that I had designed for him for our anniversary,” she told ITV’s This Morning.

“As long as he’s healthy and alive, I don’t mind. But he better have bleeding travel insurance!”

After hearing Atomic Kitten had decided to split, she said: “I can’t believe that, I’m gobsmacked.”

Kerry said she was getting used to her luxury hotel after a fortnight roughing it in the jungle.

Asked about her win, she said: “I’m in shock, gobsmacked, absolutely flabbergasted.

“I’ve been in the hotel for a couple of hours, that’s it. It’s been a mad rush – got in the bath, shaved my bits, had a decent toilet.”

And after two weeks of jungle rations, she joked: “I’ve lost a stone – off my left nipple.”

Former punk John Lydon had a bust-up with Bryan while Kerry was still in the jungle.

But she said: “Whatever’s gone on has gone on. I don’t know and I don’t want to know. What I know is that the Johnny I met in the jungle, that’s my memory of Johnny. I was very close to Johnny and I loved him to bits.”

Meanwhile, Peter Andre is flying to Britain tomorrow and plans to relaunch his pop career here.

Radio 1 DJ Chris Moyles led a successful campaign to get Andre’s 90s hit Mysterious Girl re-released.

Today Andre told Moyles: “I can’t believe it. I hope they change the video because it’s a bit old, but that’s great that you guys put this idea together.

“When someone told me, I was like, ‘what, are you serious?’ so that’s awesome.”
