Unknown set to sign up as Superman

Henry Cavill, who is virtually unknown in Hollywood, is reported to be the latest front runner for the role of Superman in Warner Bros’ long-planned and trouble-plagued trilogy about the Man Of Steel.

Ashton Kutcher, Josh Hartnett, Jude Law, and Brendan Fraser have all previously turned down the role and director Bret Ratner quit the project after a dispute over the script and budget.
