Jordan switches off the jungle steam

Peter Andre and Jordan were beginning another day of I’m A Celebrity…as their flirty relationship was dissolving in the jungle heat.

The singer and poster girl Jordan’s antics have become a mini soap opera - with the latest twist seeing the model claim she has “stopped it”.

Jordan is furious because she thinks Peter’s flirting has been devised simply to boost his chances of winning.

Alex Best was the latest star to be evicted from the ITV show yesterday, leaving five remaining contestants.

The estranged wife of football legend George, hugged her fellow competitors and left the camp in typically understated fashion.

She told presenters Ant and Dec that boredom had been a problem but insisted she had a fantastic time in the camp.

“There were some strong personalities in there…everybody’s competing,” she said. “There’s a fantastic crowd in there.”

Trouble brewed for Peter and Jordan after the singer whispered into the model’s ear that they go for a swim together.

She believed that Peter only wanted to do this for the cameras and became upset.

On finding out Jordan’s feelings, Peter claimed that he was now ready to leave the camp, should he be voted out.

Of that claim, she later said: “It is because I did not go (swimming).

“It’s guilt, it’s wrong. I can have a laugh and a joke and that..but no way that.”

Jordan further claimed that Peter’s behaviour “had all been a put on” and added: “I reckon people think me and Peter are up to something and that’s why I have stopped it now.”

The glamour girl’s boyfriend, Scott Sullivan, has flown out to Australia and has apparently threatened to punch Peter’s “lights out”.

Meanwhile, the backbiting in the rest of the camp has reached fever pitch.

Lord Brocket, dubbed Lord Fraud after he spent time in prison, has become angry with Jennie Bond because of comments she made about his “moneyed background”.

He said: “Three times, you have killed a conversation by saying I am from a rich class or moneyed background when neither money nor background has had anything to do with the conversation.”

Jennie, clearly bemused by the attack which happened in front of the other campers, replied: “What a strange offence.”

Earlier, when Jennie left for her Bushtucker Trial, the peer said: “Maybe the ratbag will drown.

“I don’t like her at all. The main problem is that she’s just very false about everything … she’s seriously false.”

But Kerry McFadden has become angry with Lord Brocket, warning him she does not like the atmosphere of animosity.

Their relationship soured after they retrieved the celebrity chest from the top of a towering tree.

Former Atomic Kitten star Kerry returned minutes later saying: “I thought there was no ‘I’ in team.

“I thought it was supposed to be a team effort but every suggestion I made was wrong.”

The 23-year-old said: “I don’t like his game – the game he is playing … I refuse to get involved in it … He left me stood up there like a w****r,

“I like Charlie but I’m not getting involved in this bitchiness that he’s doing.”
