Britters hooks up with Vegas husband Jason

Britney Spears is still seeing the childhood friend she so briefly married in Las Vegas last month.

The pop star, 22, wed Jason Alexander, also 22, in a spontaneous ceremony in the US gambling capital on January 3, but annulled it just 55 hours later.

But a friend of the spurned groom has told American magazine US Weekly that the couple may not be married but they are still dating. It seems the parents of the pair would like them to give their relationship a chance.

Jared Prescott says: "Britney's family just wants her to date him for a while. If they do it the right way, her family will let them get married."
