Stewart dates next generation

Star Trek: The Next Generation actor Patrick Stewart is not letting age (or common sense) stand in the way of romance.

The recently separated actor (from second wife, producer Wendy Neuss) is dating an actress nearly 40 years his junior.

The 63-year-old star and Lisa Dillon, 24, played lovers on the West End stage in The Master Builder last year. Their romance has now spilled into real life, according to imdb.com.

Dillon is younger than Stewart’s two children, Sophie and Daniel.

A source says: "Their closeness is the talk of the theatrical world. They've been seen together on a number of occasions and seem to enjoy each other's company.

"He is incredibly attentive to Lisa, and quick to introduce her to his theatrical contemporaries. Despite the age gap, they have an awful lot in common."
