Irish cinemas show growth in viewers
More Irish fans have been heading for the cinema, according to figures released recently.
Irish Box Office figures for 2003 show an increase of 4% to €97.4m, with Dublin showing an increase of €8.4m in admissions.
All of this against some European decreases.
Irish films have been holding up well, with Veronica Guerin heading the list alongside Intermission, Song for a Raggy Boy and In America. Gangs of New York came in at Number 8.
