Beyonce rings up a hit

Beyonce’s number one hit Crazy In Love was the best-selling mobile phone ringtone of 2003 in the UK.

The chart smash easily beat dance tune Fly On The Wings Of Love by XTM.

R Kelly’s Ignition was next, followed by In Da Club by rapper 50 Cent.

R&B tunes were the most popular choice of ringtone last year, according to mobile content provider ringtones.co.uk.

Black Eyed Peas’ Where Is The Love, the biggest single of 2003, also made the top 10, as did Clocks by Coldplay.

The only TV or film music in the top 10 was the theme from The Simpsons.

The top five best-selling ringtones last year were all polyphonic, compared to 2002 when the entire top 10 were monophonic.
