Parton's idea catches on in Illinois

Country singer Dolly Parton was the first member of her family to become a high school graduate.

Now she’s trying to help other children achieve scholastic success. Through her Imagination Library, children are given books to encourage them to read.

Recently the state of Illinois adopted the Imagination Library as a state-wide program.
