Former Smashing Pumpkins guitarist Billy Corgan says his first solo album will be "loud and beautiful and poetic and dumb."

Former Smashing Pumpkins guitarist Billy Corgan says his first solo album will be "loud and beautiful and poetic and dumb."

The frontman, who last September split with Zwan - the band he created after Smashing Pumpkins disbanded - has revealed that he has started work on the album.
