Music industry to honour Christy Moore

The Irish music industry is to honour veteran singer Christy Moore by making him the first recipient of an annual award.

Moore, a performer for four decades, will receive the accolade from the Irish Recorded Music Association, which represents Ireland’s top national and international acts.
