Teenager carjacks Eminem's mother

Police have arrested a teenager for allegedly carjacking Eminem's mother on Eight Mile Road.

Debbie Nelson was apparently attacked last week as she was sitting in her Honda Accord at a petrol station - on the street which was made famous by the rapper's movie '8 Mile'.

According to police, she was approached by a lone male who was armed with a silver handgun.

He ordered her to get out of the car, then grabbed her by the wrist and pulled her out, before driving off himself.

Police recovered the vehicle and have arrested a 16-year-old from Detroit who has been charged with carjacking and armed robbery.
