Irish Film Board praise Sheridan on nominations

Bord Scannán na hÉireann (The Irish Film Board) has congratulated Jim Sheridan for scoring three nominations with his film 'In America' in the 76th Annual Academy Awards.

The awards will take place in Los Angeles on the February 29.

The film received three nominations for: Djimon Hounsou (Best Supporting Actor), Samantha Morton (Best Actress) and Best Original Screenplay.

The film was shot on location in Ireland and Dublin doubled as New York in many scenes in the film.
