Radiohead top music awards nominations

Nominations for the NME music awards were being announced today.

Radiohead have earned five nominations, including Best UK Band, Single and Album.

Camp rockers The Darkness will battle it out against The White Stripes – the bands have four nominations each.

Justin Timberlake is up against the likes of Damien Rice, Pink and Ryan Adams in the Best Solo Artist award.

Winners will be unveiled on February 12 at the Hammersmith Palais, London.
