Cold Mountain disappoints at Globes

The Golden Globes ceremony proved a disappointment for Anthony Minghella's Cold Mountain - an American Civil War deserter's journey to find his sweetheart - which had been nominated for eight awards.

It lost out to The Lord Of the Rings: The Return Of the King in the best drama picture category.
