Ex-Coronation Street star Kevin Kennedy was celebrating today after becoming a father.

Kennedy, who played Curly Watts in the ITV soap, saw his wife Claire give birth to 7lb 13oz daughter Katie May yesterday, his agent’s office confirmed.
