Britney sparks health fears

Pop superstar Britney Spears has sparked health fears in her fans following a mystery visit to a California hospital last week.

The recently annulled singer, 22, arrived with her mother Lynne for an hour-long appointment at the Centinela Hospital in Los Angeles. The following day the petite blonde multi-millionairess visited the Parkside Medical Centre in Santa Monica, California, again accompanied with her mother.

Reportedly Lynne is worried about her eldest child particularly since Britney's sham 55-hour Las Vegas marriage to childhood friend Alexander.

A Parkside source says, "Britney's appearance here was the talk of the centre. She looked very downcast and subdued."
