Costner returns to cowboy roots

Kevin Costner is returning to his winning formula – making Westerns. The actor director who made the Oscar winning Dances With Wolves and the US hit Open Range is planning another, Horizon.

He’ll also star and direct the film. He’s had a string of box office disasters recently, including Dragonfly and 3000 Miles To Graceland.

Apart from Dances With Wolves, which won seven Oscars, Costner has previously starred in two other Westerns, Wyatt Earp in 1994 and Silverado in 1985 which both did well.
