Stiller set for Meet the Parents prequel
Ben Stiller is starring in a new comedy Along Came Polly with Jennifer Aniston, which has just opened in the States. And he’s about to start filming a sequel to Meet the Parents, called Meet the Fockers.
The actor says casting hasn’t been completed but he’s hoping Dustin Hoffman will play his dad. He says no-one is on board to play his sex therapist mother “but my dream is Barbra Streisand”.
At the movie premiere in Hollywood, Aniston’s Friends co-stars turned up. The cast of the popular show had been working on the final episode of the show (to air in May in the States) and they all admitted it was a tearful afternoon. “It was heartbreaking,” said Aniston, “we all cried”.
Brad Pitt was at the party to support his wife, plus a host of other celebrities including Sheryl Crowe who turned up arm in arm with her cycling champion boyfriend Lance Armstrong.
